Trusted Merchants
There's probably a million online stores that sell computers. Everything from mom and pop shops to billion dollar computer warehouses. Buying online is great, no taxes (in most cases) and you can have it delivered right to your front door. Many online retailers keep their inventory in giant warehouses so there are no storefronts, no sales people and no real estate to pay for. Only a few shipping centers. That's why you can usually get things cheaper online than shopping at your local retail center.
So why doesn't everyone buy everything online? There's identity theft and security issues. Some online stores are bogus fronts that can take your money and run and never send you the goods.
So here's our picks for the best tried and true electronics merchants to get your computer gear from. We generally consider a merchant good if they provide consumers encrypted secure payment options, multiple customer service contacts and fast shipping. And of course low prices
Make sure if you're shopping online, only buy from the best!
Buy.com has everything under the sun from computers to TV's to home appliances at excellent prices. I've scored some pretty cheap MP3 players from there. Excellent seller.
Tigerdirect.com also carries just about everything electronic you can think of. Super fast shipping and incredible daily specials which crush most other online sale prices.

Spyware Doctor by PCTools is by far the best Spyware/Malware remover I've ever used. Don't believe me? Search for reviews online and you'll hear that sentiment in just about every other place you'll find. They have even added a version with built in Anti-virus this year which makes for an awesome all around solution.

Free business cards. Need I say more? You only get a couple hundred before you have to pay but hey, free is free. Plus Vistaprint's price overall is pretty cheap. Great for the person who doesn't need crazy high gloss custom cut out expensive business cards.
